What are cannabis seeds?

Unpeeled or peeled cannabis seeds?

Peeled or unpeeled, which is better? It all depends on how you use the hemp seeds in the kitchen and why you want to eat them at all. If you, as an athlete, value a lot of proteins and good fats, use peeled hemp seeds. If fibre is more relevant to you and you pay attention to calories, unpeeled hemp seeds will better suit your diet.

If the decision is difficult: Cold-pressed hemp oil is also very healthy – linseed oil is comparable and cheaper. The following applies to both oils: They are sensitive to heat, use them only for cold dishes.

Cannabis seeds for breakfast

Fitness enthusiasts add a tablespoon of peeled hemp seeds to their oatmeal muesli. There is also fresh fruit, yoghurt or curd cheese and a little honey. So you can recharge your batteries for the day. Of course, peeled hemp seeds also go well with a fresh porridge, in overnight oats or traditionally in a shake or smoothie.

Bake and cook with hemp seeds

You can bake healthy bread with cannabis seeds, or sprinkle toasted seeds over lettuce or soup, or mix them in vegan spreads and pestos.

The roasted seeds also go well with scrambled eggs or in a colourful bowl – chickpea or tomato mozzarella salad with hemp seeds should not be missed either. Humus with hemp seeds goes well with this.

Find online recipes for homemade fitness bars, crackers or vegan dips and add little healthy cannabis seeds. You can prepare a hearty spread from dried tomatoes, carrot, lemon juice, olive oil, fresh garden herbs, hot paprika powder, salt, pepper and hemp seeds in a blender. First, chop the peeled seeds briefly, then add the other ingredients.
