REVIEW: The No7 Lift & Luminate range: 4 weeks on #BetterTogether

review No7 Lift & Luminate range

Well here we are. Four weeks on and I’ve been using the No7 Lift & Luminate range every single day. (There is a post here from when I started if you need to catch up.)

Belle is very proud.

‘Have you done your creams?’ she asks, morning and night. (She is very strict.)

‘Yes, I’ve done them!’

I beam proudly, like a toddler trying to impress their mummy.

Four weeks on then, have I noticed any difference using the Lift & Luminate serum, eye cream, day cream and night cream?

All of the products contain the same triple action technology, designed to tackle the three most common signs of ageing, (namely wrinkles, firmness and tone), and the idea is that when you use the products together, rather than individually, you get better results. 88% of women who tested out the No7 Lift & Luminate range found that they saw even better results when they combined the products.

Does the No7 Lift & Luminate range make you look younger?

No7 is the number one serum brand, with clinically proven anti-ageing results, so let’s have a look shall we?

Now, bear in mind that the light is a little different in these before and after pictures. I didn’t want to do any sort of editing though, as I was wary then of artificially changing the look of my skin. Take a look and see what you think:

I know, I look like eighteen right?!

Seriously though.

Aside from the difference in light and colour, I do genuinely think there are some changes. It feels to me like the lines around my eyes are less visible in the after photos, and that generally things look a little bit more even.

Benefits of the No7 Lift & Luminate range

Aside from what you might be able to see in the photos, there are a lot of things that I really like about the No& Lift & Luminate range, and quite a few more subtle differences that I have noticed.

know that I’ve enjoyed using the No7 products because I’m still using them. I haven’t come to the end of the trial period and given up, which I thought I might do, because I genuinely like how they make me feel.

Firstly, I love the ritual of it. I’ve never really been the sort of person to have a skincare routine, but there is a lot to be said for the process, twice a day, of taking the time to wash you face and apply creams. There is something very comforting about it, but there’s also a feeling of taking care of yourself. It isn’t just about wanting to look younger, it’s about wanting to take that little bit of time every day to invest in yourself and make yourself feel good.

To me, it felt a bit like having a big glass of water or a piece of fruit – you do it because you know it’s good for you, but also because of the fuzzy feeling you get from just being kind to yourself.

What else?

Oh yes – the No7 Lift & Luminate day cream is sparkly! It has teeny tiny glittery bits in it, so afterwards my hands shimmer. I like that. Applying it, I was a bit worried that it would leave my face feeling greasy, at is has quite a thick, luxurious feel. It really doesn’t though. I was very impressed with how quickly it absorbed, leaving my face feeling dry and smooth.

The skin on my forehead feels smoother. For years, on and off, I’ve suffered with the skin on my forehead. When I’m stressed, or hormonal, or anything like that, it goes bumpy. I get lots of little lumps and bumps on it that you can’t necessarily see, but which I can feel. After just a couple of weeks of using the products I noticed a definite reduction in this.

Around my jawline too I would say there has been a change. I had started to get a bit paranoid about the skin around my jaw feeling looser, and would often find myself fiddling with it, imagining pulling it all up and stapling it behind my ear. (Surely not just me?!) Similarly with my cheeks – it has really felt over the last year or so that things were beginning to sag. After a month of using the No7 Lift & Luminate range I feel like this has improved. The skin around my jawline and across my face feels a little firmer and plumper, like I might not have to gather it all into a knot at the back of my head quite yet.

I’ve loved doing this trial, you can really see a difference to your skin and I feel like you can with mine too! People have even commented on how glowing my skin in which considering I still don’t sleep at the moment I think is remarkable! ;) xx

The difference is really noticeable! Your skin looks positively glowing. I’m definitely going to invest in some of these creams. I always tend to splash out on facial washes and cleansers but scrimp on moisturisers and serums. But you’ve won me over.

Sparkly face cream? You’ve sold it to me! I love No7 make up but haven’t used their skincare range much so this is really interesting to read – you look fab!

I really think the difference is noticeable and your skins looks like it’s really glowing and lines are reduced. I really need to get something like this as all the sleepless nights I have been having lately are taking there tole.

It’s really hard for me to see a difference in your skin, as when you take BEFORE and AFTER photos, your face should be in the exact position as it was in the first photo so it can be compared.. It’s quite difficult to compare when you’re turning your head and smiling, as this changes the lines on your face. You’re also going to show less of a sag on your skin when you’re lying down compared to when you’re standing up.

In the top photo, I’m actually seeing *more* lines than in the BEFORE photo.
In the bottom photo, I really can’t tell because you have your head turned.

Just because something is sponsored doesn’t mean I’m going to lie! I’m always honest – if I didn’t believe in the product or feel happy endorsing it then I wouldn’t accept the partnership.

Thank you for your evaluation but you took the second photo on an angle which distorts. It isn’t an accurate comparison. Lighting, as a photographer would know, can make the difference between a bad photo and great photo. It is hard to actually see if your claim is true by these photos. Plus you smile in the after photo which would show more wrinkles but you angled your face so the light may be helping the result look better. I work with photographers all the time and these tricks are used by them. With that said,If you do another evaluation please keep your head in the same position and either smile in both or not. Just a suggestion. I’m sure this product does help with wrinkles. I’m not trying to squash your claim.

My mam aged 72 has had a horrific allergic reaction to this product. Excruciating pain and burns over her face and neck. Still very visible and painful 5 days after application. Would not recommend this product as it has produced a very severe reaction
