Deciding on where to go away on your summer holiday is an exciting task but one that can be a little difficult sometimes and the only reason for the difficulty tends to be that there are so many places to go in the world. London, Barcelona, Rome, and Paris are four amazing European cities which have so much to offer. Barbados, St Lucia, Miami and Mauritius are four beautiful places that have stunning beaches!
What it comes down to and a way to narrow down your choices is for you to decide the type of holiday you would like to go on. Are you looking to explore a city like Barcelona? Or would you prefer to relax on a beach in Miami? It might be that you want to do something completely different like a walking holiday in the Alentejo region – the world is your oyster.
To help you narrow down your search, we have put together our list of three countries you should consider visiting this summer.
London – England
No matter the time of year you would like to go, London is a place that lives fondly in many people’s hearts. It’s the capital of England and it offers so much – delicious restaurants, historic venues, theatre shows, luxurious hotels and more. You can visit London for a couple of days or a couple of weeks, however there is one thing for sure, you will want to come back once you’ve visited.
Miami – USA
Everything about Miami screams luxury! You have some of the best hotels in the world as well as the best restaurants (you need to go to Billionaires Row if you visit). Just like London, there is so much to see and do throughout the year, although it does have a wonderful beach, making it the perfect summer destination. A lot of people who stay in Miami will go on a cruise after or will travel to local cities nearby like Fort Lauderdale.
Lisbon – Portugal
Have you been to Lisbon before? If not, this has to be on your bucket list of places to go to. Lisbon is a foodies heaven as well as a place for someone who likes to dive into history – Lisbon has a really interesting history! The architecture is also very impressive. Flights to Lisbon tend to be very affordable and just like Miami, you can opt to cruise to and from Lisbon. Portugal as a whole is a lovely country as well and if you like walking holidays, there is plenty for you to go on. You could stay in Lisbon and then go on one after.
