Camp Bestival 2013 line-up announced

It may be grey and soggy outside, but inside my head the squirrels that are in charge of my brain are having a little dance and humming to themselves. It’s that time of the year where summer music festivals start announcing their line-up and this week one of my favourites, Camp Bestival, has been shouting about the fantastic acts they’ve got lined up.

Last year we had an absolutely brilliant weekend, as you can see from my Camp Bestival 2012 post. Rolf Harris was a highlight, and the laser and firework show was just incredible. Boyfriend and I are already looking forward to this year, especially as we’re going to be treating ourselves to some luxury camping courtesy of Tangerine Fields. (Because everyone needs exclusive use of a hairdryer at a festival surely?)

Are you planning on going to any festivals this summer? Wish of the Camp Bestival acts would you most like to see live?

Here’s the line-up for Camp Bestival so far:

The Levellers would have to be my choice of acts to see, every time they’ve put a show on near us I swear hubby hides the listings so I can’t see them; he’s not that keen on them & has seen them at countless festivals in his free & single years but little old me’s never gotten to see them once.

Always wanted to do festivals when I was in my teens but never quite got round to it; now it’s looking more like I’ll be spending my summer at plenty but from the other side of the mud strewn fencing this year as hubby’s band has been booked for a couple of local ones. At least it’ll give me the chance to reinvent my youth, listen to some fabulous music, spend more money than I should at the most bizarre places possible, eat some really dodgy food & embarrass teenage daughter all at the same time – score!

Yeah, the Levellers are great. Have you ever been to Beautiful Days? It’s the festival organised by the Levellers!
