Why Great Ormond Street Hospital needs your help
All the money raised through Bake it Better goes directly towards enabling Great Ormond Street Hospital to provide world-class care to its young patients, and their families by:
– contributing to the refurbishment and rebuilding of the hospital
– supporting ground breaking research into the developments of new treatments
– funding the most up-to-date equipment
– providing accommodation and support services for children and their families
£35 could buy special ‘chemical scissors’ that chop up DNA. These DNA scissors help our scientists to decode genetic secrets hidden in our cells and fight back against inherited diseases.
£54 could cover the costs for a young patient and their family to have their spirits lifted at our incredible Christmas party.
£110 could fund a member of our Play team for a day. The Play team design enjoyable activities for our young patients to aid their treatment and recovery. The efforts of the Play team are essential to ensure that our patients’ experience of the hospital is as stress-free as possible.
Please do show your support for Great Ormond Street Hospital in whatever way you can!
