Some of the Florida theme parks might be your go to, but if you concentrate on just the ones in that area then you may be missing out on some hidden gems. Here are some of the most highly rated theme parks on the trusted review website Trip Advisor, so you can make an informed decision about where to go.

Universal’s Islands of Adventure

Whatever superheroes or magical creatures you’re into, there’s something for everyone at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Hide from hungry dinosaurs or explore a secret school of witchcraft and wizardry, whatever you decide to do first it’s going to be an incredible adventure for all the family. As well as loads of dining options, shows and live entertainment, there are so many attractions and themed rides from The Simpsons and Harry Potter to Moana and The Incredible Hulk.

Magic Kingdom Park

Magic Kingdom Park was the first of four Walt Disney theme parks to open and it still remains a firm favourite with families to this day. If you’re a Disney lover as well as a theme park lover then this is definitely a great place to start.

Universal Studios Hollywood

One of the main attractions at this theme park is the world-famous studio tour – take a glimpse at the behind the scenes and making of all of your favourite movies and dip into their worlds in between all the rides and fun. You can explore the wizarding village of Hogsmeade and grab a butterbeer as well as catch a movie at the cinema or upgrade to one of their personalised VIP experiences.

Universal Studios Florida

If you’re mainly centred around the traditional Florida theme parks, then Universal Studios Florida could be a better option for you. With lots of the same attractions as the Hollywood location, you won’t be missing out on any of the fun. They even have special Christmas themed activities and shows to get you into the festive spirit as well as lots of rides and places to shop.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

If you’re more interested in nature and animals than you are movies and superheroes, Animal Kingdom is definitely a must see for you.
