WIN £50 to spend at Paper Themes

I am not the most organised of people but I make up for it by being pretty organised.

That sounds weird right?

Let me explain what I mean. One thing I am hopeless at is remembering birthdays. I know this about myself though, so at home keep a big box of cards and wrapping paper and small gifts so that when (normally if) I remember the night before that I’ve forgotten a friend’s birthday I can rummage in my box of goodies. Tada!

It even makes more sense financially as you can bulk buy when things are on offer. Goodness me, how annoyingly efficient I am.

Bespoke stationery

In fact, I decided today that I am definitely going to be doing a bit of bulk buying from Paper Themes, a gorgeous website that sells masses of different cards, gift wrap, personalised stationary and wedding favours. Any website with the word ‘stationery’ in the title doesn’t even have to try for my custom.

Sadly, I am not allowed to enter my own competition, but if you fancy a bit of gift card bulk buying or are planning a wedding then please do enter now with the little widget below and you could win fifty whole pounds to spend on gorgeous things for your emergency forgetfulness box.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Aw, I LOVE stationery. A self-confessed stationery addict right here!

I have a habit of buying ‘the perfect card’ for somebody, filing it away safely… then completely forgetting and buying another.

    Is there a stationery / card / organiser / must-not-forgetter thing-a-me-bob?

I always forget to put the wheely bin out the night before! The van comes at 6.30am so I am often rushing out in my slippers and gown to put it out! The refuse collectors just laugh!

  3. 28 June, 2013 / 2:17 pm

I have a nasty habit of forgetting I’ve left a load of washing in the machine. Find it a couple of days later when it’s not so fresh smelling any more & I’ve completely run out of undies.

In our household we always seem to have birthday sneak up on us. To help we bought a nifty book that has 12 pages with pockets in them. On each page you write the birthdays for the month and then as and when you find cards that suit that person you slip them in the pocket! Now we just need to remember to use the book….

I also forgot birthdays too… in fact anything to do with appointments, and with 3 children, 2 with ongoing hospital appointments, this can really be a problem!! I now have a stack of papers on a magnet on the fridge, in order of date, it seems to be helping the apoointments, but not the birthdays lol. It is a running joke, and family members with children have been instructed to let me know a wk before, and although they think this is rude I insist on it!! This prize would be fab, as not only could I get a diary, something I always say Ill get every year, my daughter has a slight obsession with stationary (I say slight, she got into trouble this wk cos her desk had 4 large pencil cases on and no room for her to do work so shes only allowed to take 1 now, oops!)

  8. 28 June, 2013 / 4:51 pm

I love paper. No, really, I honestly do. My favourite card in my card box (yep – got a card box) just says ‘correspondence’ on it – too cool :)

  9. 28 June, 2013 / 4:57 pm

Oh dear – always guilty of forgetting wrapping paper. I either end up at One Stop at 10.30pm the night before or have to wrap birthday presents in inappropriate wrap (occasionally with Snowmen and Santas on it). I wish I were someone ‘crafty’ who can make wrap out of tin foil or old newspaper but hey – if we were all good at that Pinterest would crash.

My in-laws birthdays. I am not sure why it’s my responsibility, since my husband is a proper grown up and everything, yet it’s always my fault when he’s rushing around like a blue arsed fly at the last minute. After 14 years together I no longer buy the presents, I figure the extent of my duty is just to remind him at some point before the day.
