COMPETITION – win a colour in t-shirt set with MiniWardrobe

The competitions just keep rolling in here at Slummy single mummy!

Today, following our recent review of the LEGO Wear range at www.miniwardrobe.com, I am able to give you the chance to win a Giokit of your choice.

Giokit is a new idea in children’s wear, where each piece becomes a creative opportunity. The kits contain everything that kids need to colour, decorate and customize their own t-shirt. Pretty cool, huh?

After a 40° wash, all the colours and decorations disappear and the t-shirt will be ready for another new art session. Hours of fun for those kids who prefer to draw on a wall/random object rather than paper. I quite wish they did them in grown up sizes, that way you could just buy the one t-shirt and draw a different design on it every day to look like you have a whole wardrobe full of t-shirts. That’s how it works, right?

There are different designs, with some long-sleeve and short-sleeve styles.

If your child prefers colouring in, then this Noah’s ark tee is a good choice:

Colour in t-shirt

But if they’d prefer to be let loose to draw whatever they want, this photo frame design is perfect for them to draw a very flattering portrait of you, or a picture of a poo, or whatever they find hilarious.

Colour in t-shirt

You can earn up to four entries through my fancy pants Rafflecopter thingummy below and the competition will close on June 18th.

Good luck!

My 5 year old came home the other week from school and handed me a picture of our family; mummy, her younger sister and herself. There was also a drawing next to mummy used with a black pen and had big ears! I asked her who it was, her response was…..

Mummy I know how much you love Will Smith, it’s okay he can live with us!!

Oh dear, I think my obsession with Will has gone a bit too far!

every year at my childrens school, for mothers day, the children all paint a picture of their mummy and we have to guess which one we are. I don’t always find mine on the wall but what I’m so happy about is that each picture of me always has a big big big smile, the fact that my children see me like that makes me very happy. :-)

My son had to write about his family. I had a part time job as a tour guide at the time.
One night after school a teacher, thankfully laughing, asked what my job was and showed me what Adam had written,
There was a ship, men and me standing met to them. The caption was ‘My Mum works down the docks on the weekends’…… I was a tour guide on HMS Trincolmalee, an historic ship being restored…..we still laugh about it.

My daughter is actually more into making things than drawing, we bought a love bird a few months ago called George and she came out of her reception class with the monstrous creation made entirely out of cereal boxes and yoghurt pots (was so big I struggled to get it in the smart car!) when I asked her what it was, assuming it was some sort of rocket, she gave me a horrified look and said ‘its an activity gym for George to play with when he comes out of the cage!
According to her teacher she had sat for absolutely ages and used half a roll of cellotape to make it :) felt quite bad when we had to finally throw it away :(

The best picture my oldest son ever came out of school with was portrait of me, it was very flattering and made me look tall and slim with the biggest green eyes ever, he even put me in a Manchester United shirt (I’ve never worn one but they are my team) Unfortunately, he also captioned it, with not-very-good spelling … ‘Mum you are lovlely and sweat’ !! I choose to believe that he meant ‘lovely and sweet’
