So, last week, I was hard at work, as always, when an email pinged into my inbox from the rather lovely and always beautifully coiffed Kate Garraway. (That woman off of the telly).
“I spend quite a lot of time on the web,” Kate wrote, ”and I was really thrilled when I stumbled onto your blog! I loved the style and tone of your articles, and I relate to so much of it as a fellow mum.” Yeah, yeah, I know what you’re thinking – ‘I bet she says that to all the girls’, well hush, I want to believe I am special. It has nothing to do with her wanting to promote her new website - Goodypass - and I am absolutely sure she sent it just to me.
Anyway, my bessie mate Kate said she would love to give me a Daniel Galvin Jr. package of Calming Lavender Baby Shampoo, Lavender Body Moisturiser and Lavender Body Wash (I detect a subtle lavender theme there, which is odd, as the picture she sent me is of Cucumber and Melon shampoo…), if I would just let people know about a competition she is having on her blog for Mother’s Day, celebrating mumpreneurs.
You see, we are best blog buddies. Fact.
If you want to enter Kate’s competition, you have to act fast, as it ends tomorrow, so do that bit now and then come back here.
*waits patiently*
Done?
Good.
Now leave me a comment too, saying something amusing, and I may let you win my competition. A lavender extravaganza could be winging its way to you. Go on, you know you want to.

Oh heavenly relaxing lavender. I love it. hopefully if i was lucky enough to win your giveway then my bath will have been replaced, i did but slip like an OAP, fall like a HEAVY bag of spuds and managed to smash a big hole in the bath with my oh so delicate feet. Have I really put on this much weight that I can do this..it scares me to answer!!
I’m sure Kate is just wanting to be your bestest friend really and she was right to like the style and tone of your articles!!!!!!

Dear Cool Kid at School/BFF of Kate Garraway (That woman off of the telly).
I would love to win your prize – frankly at the end of a long a exhausting day, anything that makes bathing the babies more appealing and relaxing is a win for me!
But also, it would be rather awesome to just be able to say I have won a prize from the BFF of That woman off of the telly.
@VickyNunes
You sound way to calm, dropping Kate’s name in there, didn’t you totally wee your pants a bit when you opened that email?! I mean, come on cool kid, that’s p-r-etty bonkers cool non?
Not a fan of Lavender myself, reminds me of my Granny Ivy (or Poison Ivy as my Mum called her), but it knocks Miss L out and makes her sleep all night which is lovely.
Katie (as I like to call her) used to live in our house. Fact.
Love Lavender, it reminds me so much of my late mum xx
